Yesterday morning I woke up to my friend Chirag Khushalani’s gtalk message that the CyanogenMod 7 stable is out; and provided me the download link. That was all which was needed for me to get up and run to my computer to download the latest build. CM 7 was in the nightlies mode for a very long time now and RC 4 was the latest stable build released by them. CM7 is based on Android 2.3.3 (the latest build from Google for Gingerbread).
I have used the CM7 stable build for a day now and would like to mention that it is rock stable and the battery backup is really great after calliberating the battery with the ROM. The phone.apk bug has also been resolved and there was no bug that could be seen. It was smooth, no lags and everything seems to be working fine. I would like to thank Cyanogen and TeamDouche for such a great ROM once again.
