First non-Latin website goes live, foxes browsers!

After ICANN approved non-Latin names for URL’s last year, the Egytian Ministry of Communications has come up with its own Arabic website. The url for which reads like this  (Ahem! While you are trying to decipher; it reads right to left as its Arabic. Well we gave up as soon as we saw it.) Now when you put it into any of the browsers, the poor browser converts it into the following Latin url: http://xn--4gbrim.xn—-rmckbbajlc6dj7bxne2c.xn--wgbh1c/ar/default.aspx. Though the site seems to load just fine.

It seems like a good initiative for countries with languages that necesscitates non-Latin script.
