Now, before I even begin, let me confess that I have been sitting on a lot of pointers for weeks now, but was hesitant to post them. Partly due to the expectations and partly because my source this time around isn’t a 100% sure. But I still have a 98% confirmation on the date and there are some more interesting details. All of them remain a rumor, I am trying hard to get a confirmation but here is what it reads:
a) iPhone 4 pricing is being worked upon. And while one of my source uses the term ‘unbelievably low’, I would say lower than what 3GS was priced for 🙂 . Still lets vote, is the 16GB iPhone 4 costing 34,990? Well that’s what the claim is. Subsidy or not, we aren’t sure yet.
b) Another interesting bit is the 3GS price. A sub 20k price as I am being told. The 3GS still is a decent smartphone and a number of people around me are using it. I won’t be surprised if this happens. That still is over USD 400.
c) Yes I know it pays to hit the bulls eye when it comes to the launch date. But what I would care more is to let our audience know that its coming. So if you are planning an iPhone 4 via any alternate source, it pays to know that the official launch is happening in around a week. Its the date that we have multiple inputs on. Multiple sources claim 25th or 27th May (Apparently the retailers are being kept quite with a ‘around 25th’ wording). I would go with 27th May (though its not entirely a calculated guess, don’t we all know that Apple loves a Friday launch 🙂 ).
@SPICK N SPAN :
I guess the time for Apple is going to soon be over in the mobile market, because samsung S2 is coming and it is going to revitalize samsungs status in the mobile phone market. and it is a very strong competitor to Apple Iphone both feature and money wise. So i recommend people to buy samsung S2 and not the Apple IPhone bcoz 1st: its very costly,.. to know more about the difference

Invalid argument. At this price point, the price is itself is not a factor. There will always be iPhone users. Android phones don’t come close, S2 or otherwise.
