Karbonn Mobiles, the homegrown cellphone manufacturer has just announced the official launch of its flagship handset, the Titanium X in India. Aimed to compete against the likes of the Micromax Canvas Turbo and the Gionee Elife E6, the handset boasts of a decent spec sheet that looks like this.
Powered by the Mediatek MT 6589 chipset, it boasts of a quad core processor running at 1.5 Ghz. There is 1 GB of RAM and 16 Gb of internal memory. Dominating the front of the Karbonn Titanium X is a 5 inch full HD IPS display. Taking care of the imaging bit is a 13 megapixel main camera and a 5 megapixel front camera. The main camera can capture videos in full HD. The phone currently runs Android 4.2 and should be upgradable to KitKat. The hardware is powered by a 2300 Mah battery. Connectivity wise, you would find all the usual stuff in here – which also includes NFC and GPS.
The Karbonn Titanium X is currently on sale in India for a sub Rs.19k price – which is almost the same as that of the Canvas Turbo and slightly lesser than the price of the Gionee Elife E6.
