Lenovo has expanded its smartphones range in India by launching yet another Android powered smartphone in India. Called the Vibe X, the device packs in a set of hard to ignore features. Let’s see what those are.
To start with, the handset gets a 5 inch, full HD display – the same size and resolution as that on the Samsung Galaxy S4. Underneath, there is the much used MediaTek 6589T SoC which houses the quad core processor running at 2.2 Ghz. There is ample 2GB of RAM AND 16 GB of internal memory. The handset is very slim measuring just 6.9 mm across.
A 13 megapixel camera takes care of the imaging bit at the rear. The front camera can capture 5 Megapixel snaps. The phone can also capture full HD videos. Connectivity options include 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and micro USB 2.0. Powering all this hardware is a 2000 mAH battery. The Vibe X has been launched at a price of Rs.25,999 which is slightly more expensive compared to handsets by Indian manufacturers – with similar specifications
Lenovo is expected to launch the even more advanced Vibe Z soon in India. This handset which has already launched in China gets a 5.5-inch full-HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and 2 GB of RAM.
