Lenovo lately has been busy launching affordable smartphones, the newest addition to it is the Lenovo S60 in it’s S-series at a price tag of Rs. 12,999 in India. After the launch and sale of Lenovo A7000 the company will provide Lenovo S60 on the company’s brand store along with being available on the e-commerce portals like Amazon and Flipkart. The device would be available in a Graphite Grey Variant.
The Lenovo’s S60 is a 5-inch HD IPS display along with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. The phone is paired with a 2GB RAM alongside powered by a 64-bit 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor. The handset includes an inbuilt storage of 8GB which is expandable up to 32GB with the help of the microSD card.
The device is equipped with a 13MP rear autofocus camera along with the LED flash and a fixed-focus front facing camera. The camera is supported with features that includes scene detection, face recognition, low light enhancement, geo-tagging, burst shot, smile shot, panorama along with HDR. The phone is dual SIM and the smart phones runs on Android 4.4 KitKat along with Vibe 2.0 UI on top. Lenovo stated that the phone will be upgraded to Android Lollipop soon but they haven’t announced or provided any time-frame for it.
The device in context of connectivity includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Micro-USB and Bluetooth 4.0. The Lenovo S60 as claimed by the company comes along with a 2,150mAh battery that offers 17 hours of talk time with 240 hours of standby time on 3G networks.
The phone also packs in features such as an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor along with a magnetometer.
