By the time you read this, you might have already seen how serious Vodafone is about its partnership with Facebook here in India. The company had launched its “Facebook Phone”, the Vodafone Blue 555 here just days ago and along with it, also debuted an all new ad yesterday. Apart from Vodafone, players like INQ and HTC already have Facebook themed handset out in the market.
Joining this bandwagon soon would be Motorola it seems. Eagle eyed folks from over at Unwired View managed to spot a new Motorola device at the Bluetooth SIG website. The phone is clearly a Facebook centric phone and looks quite similar to the Vodafone Blue we might as well add.
The Ex 225 as the device is known, gets a 2.4 inch QVGA display, a 3 megapixel camera, the must have Facebook “F” button, and of course, a customary QWERTY keypad that phones from these genre come with. There is also another variant of the phone – the EX 226 which lacks the F button and comes in a dual SIM avatar.
As of now, this is all we know. No word as to when and at what price Motorola plans to release these ones – especially here in India where the entry of the Vodafone Blue has certainly heated things up. Anyway, we might as well remind you that the Ex 225 is in line with the Ex119 and Ex109 that they released sometime back. Motorola seems to be going aggressive on the Dual SIM phones these days. Don’t you think?
Spoiler alert: We have the Ex 119 review coming up here on OG shortly!
