Last November, Motorola had unveiled its foldable smartphone called Motorola razr. The Lenovo-owned brand has now brought the device to the Indian market. The Motorola razr has debuted as a modern version of the iconic Moto razr feature phone that was launched way back in 2003. The Indian variant of the foldable smartphone features the same specifications as its global variant. Let’s take a look at the device below:

The Motorola razr features a 6.2-inch p-OLED display bearing a 2,142 x 876 pixels screen resolution. There is a normal notch on the top and a thick chin at the bottom of the device. The device comes with a fingerprint reader embedded in the power button. The Motorola razr features a stainless steel hinge placed under the screen. When folded, the smartphone offers a 2.7-inch secondary display on the outside that shows notifications, date, time and more. There is a single 16MP camera with an f/1.7 aperture and a dual-LED flash below the Quick View display. The device offers camera features like Dual Pixel autofocus, laser autofocus, NightVision and EIS.
Under the hood, the Motorola razr is equipped with a Snapdragon 710 chipset. It packs 6GB RAM and offers 128GB internal storage. The device runs on Android 9 Pie OS. The Motorola razr draws its power from a 2,510mAh battery unit with support for 15W TurboPower fast charging technology. Connectivity options on the foldable phone include e-SIM slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC and USB-C port. However, the device does not feature a 3.5mm jack and microSD card slot.

Motorola has priced its foldable smartphone for Rs 1,24,999 in India. The device ships in Noir Black colour. The Motorola razr is up for pre-bookings with sales commencing from April 2nd via Flipkart. Citibank cardholders can avail Rs 10,000 cashback on the purchase while Jio users are eligible for double data recharge.
