Folks over at Hackintosh-india have managed to lay their hands on what seems to be an upcoming C-Series handset from Nokia. The device whose name was found after checking its Bluetooth Name deep inside the menu was labeled simply as C2 -00 externally. This phone was sourced from a Nokia insider who was apparently testing the phone. The specialty of this phone is that it packs in dual SIM capability as well.
The C2-06 is a series 40 device and is obviously targeted at the low end segment. When released, it is likely to be branded as a touch and type device thanks to the touchscreen display it possesses. The touchscreen is resistive in nature and from what we have been told, doesn’t offer a very good experience in terms of overall usability.
The phone has a 2 megapixel camera at the rear minus flash. There is no support for Wi-Fi or 3G networks. No word as to when this would be launched. Expect this one to be dirt cheap though!
