On Monday, Nokia India, announced the fourth phone in the Asha series – the Nokia Asha 303. The budget feature phone is based on the S40 operating system and with dual input system of touch & type, 1 Ghz processor and a 2.6 inch display with a capacitive touch screen. As we had reported earlier, Nokia is creating a stir in the entry level segment with the Asha series phones.
Nokia Asha 303 is positioned as a stunning touch & type phone with a QWERTY keypad designed for web browsing, social networking, entertainment and gaming. Along with a powerful hardware of 1 Ghz processor, upto 32 GB of memory support and a 3.2 MP camera, the phone comes pre-loaded with entertainment and gaming applications such as Angry Birds Lite, Mobile TV with Zenga TV, Whatsapp, along with DRM-free Nokia Music Unlimited service.
Viral Oza, Direct Marketing, Nokia India said that the company has been working hard to bring smart innovation on mobile devices to newer price points. He further added that the smart featured phone is targeted at the young, urban, hyper-social individuals who want it an an affordable price in order to feed their vast appetite for digital consumption.
Nokia Asha 303 is bundled with a Vodafone plan of 1Gb per month for the next four months. The device will be available in stores near you with a best price tag of Rs. 7800 in color options of graphite and red.
