The Delhi launch was attended by Nokia’s Nikki Barton who is the company’s VP, Smart Devices, UX Design. She was accompanies by fashion designer Masaba Gupta.
Presenting the devices, Nikki Barton said “For the third generation of the Lumia range we wanted to combine something super slim and striking but still with great functionality. These power-packed devices are developed for young and socially active consumers who demand a stylish power-packed smartphone with a wide range of features to enhance their on-the-go experience. With the Nokia Lumia 720 and Lumia 520, we continue our focused and cons, stent design approach – Simplicity and Reduction, Colour and Craft.”
While this was majorly seen as a launch event by most, Nokia did not announce the official Indian pricing for either of these handsets. That said, Flipkart has already listed the Lumia 520 for Rs. 10,499. The Lumia 720 would of course be priced a tad higher.
