Nokia has announced the launch of a new pink variant of its flagship camera smartphone, the N8 in India. The device, obviously targeted at the fairer sex has gone on sale in various cities (18 to be precise) across India starting today. The device is similar to the “original” N8 in terms of specs and features but has been customized with a few themes and a look that Nokia thinks would appeal to them ladies.
The features exclusive to this pink variant of the N8 include various pink themed apps and wallpapers that come preloaded with it. This is apart from the themes and apps available from the Ovi Store. The phone comes with the default Little Pink Diva Theme and a Pink Neon Clock. Apart from these there is an app called ‘Paint Pad’ for women that would allow them to draw, create and use the creation as wallpaper or share it with her friends. There is also a widget called the Pink Note widget which can act as a reminder ad a to-do list that remains stuck to the homescreen of the phone.
The price for this Pink edition of the N8 has been pegged at Rs. 23,867. You might want to head to your nearest Nokia Priority Dealer to check this one out!
