Samsung Champ is the World’s Cheapest Touchscreen Phone

Samsung is all set to launch another low budget phone, it is called the Samsung Champ and it is supposed to be the worlds cheapest touchscreen phone. Unlike the Samsung  Corby, which was previously targeted towards the low budget market this small little phone will come with a 2.4″ resistive touchscreen.

The other specs of Samsung Champ include 240×320 resolution, 1.3 MP camera, a standard 3.5 mm jack, Bluetooth 2.1, microSD memory expansion and it will be running the Samsung TouchWiz. The interface will contain multiple home screen pages something like what the Android has to offer and here’s a surprise, it will also have Samsung Apps.  You will have the ability to download various Apps using the Samsung Apps store, but it is not yet known whether it would be open for all developers to publish the apps in the store.

This phone will be available in June in the developing markets like Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa and Middle-East. While this phone is not the best on specs the good thing is that it wont be much heavy on your pocket. We can say that this will be priced well under Rs. 7,000/-

  • Heard about Chinese phones? They maybe a rip off, but you get 5800 rip off’s for like 3.5-4k. As far as the interface is concerned, I’m not impressed with Samsung or the Chinese ones. they’re equally the same. Quality? Umm, Samsung is good, but as long as the phone works fine, I don’t care. Warranty is about 6 months in the Chinese phones, with bill and valid serial number.

So yeah, this isn’t the ‘WORLDS’ cheapest touch phone, at least not in India & China. 🙂

  • Yes, this innovation is very good. many people will buy this because the very low price.
