Now Samsung has given you enough reasons to be confused about the Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet. To begin with all its tablets are called the Galaxy Tab (right from the 7″ to 10.1″). Thus making the lineup something like this, Samsung Galaxy Tab 7″, Galaxy Tab 8.9″, Galaxy Tab 10.1v and Galaxy Tab 10.1.
When Samsung originally announced its honeycomb tablet at MWC, it was thicker and heavier than its current form. However given the iPad 2 announcement shortly after, Samsung quickly reworked a slimmer brother and promised that by June. The original MWC version was labeled Galaxy Tab 10.1v and went on sale with Vodafone Australia and UK. And as the slimmer version now hits the market, it is being replaced by Vodafone in UK.
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 went on sale in US today and we are expecting an India launch this month. Surely puts the rumors of Google stopping Honeycomb 3.1 rollout to rest.
