As we reported earlier, Apple has recently seeded iOS 4.3.4 to fix JailBreakMe exploit. It was based on PDF loophole which allowed third party content to be downloaded through the backdoor. Comex, hacker behind the tool used this loophole to push JailBreaking data in iDevices. This software update from Apple has nothing essential except the fact that it patches JailBreakMe. After the update, you may not be able to JailBreak your iPad 2 and other devices in the future.
JailBreakers, who want their iDevice to be JailBroken forever should stay away from this update. You can also close this backdoor using PDF Patcher 2 in Cydia to avoid any kind of malware attacks. It’s just that the main reason for Apple to release iOS 4.3.4 is to close JailBreakMe exploit. We advise you to save iOS 4.3.3 SHSH Blobs until its too late. Apple will stop signing iOS 4.3.3 very soon. Saving SHSH Blobs will allow you to restore to the same firmware again even if the support has been dropped from Apple servers. You can use TinyUmbrella for the same purpose.
(Editors Note: Jailbreaking may void your warranty and as always in the past, we would warn of security and performance issues. You would be solely responsible for any harm caused by jailbreaks)
