It seems that Vijay Sales (a leading retail chain in India) has affirmed our reports of iPad 2 India launch. We saw VijaySales tweeting yesterday about the iPad 2 availability. It began with a small teaser and went on to confirm that the iPad 2 is coming to Vijay Sales. However today morning VS does a U-turn and says there is a ‘change in plan’. Of course, the launch date is still a couple of days away!
We can see this in many ways. A slip from VijaySales or a smart move to gather some following on Twitter? Recently kicked off twitter id @vijaysales had less than 50 followers yesterday, its double that figure now.
When we broke the story of iPad 2 India launch we did tell you that its coming to Vijay Sales and Croma apart from the Reliance iStores. Just hang in there, its coming!
And in a totally expected and calm (no limelight seeking manner), the Apple Store stays mum.
