The Apple iPad, almost a year after its worldwide launch is yet to hit India officially. Naturally, I was surprised seeing an ad on the Times Of India which is apparently offering the 16 GB WiFi version of the tablet here in India for Rs.32,000 through its shopping portal.
The iPad is on sale on IndiaTimes shopping portal, and they even have an option that lets you pay for the iPad in six instalments of Rs. 5,347 each. This makes the Galaxy Tab and the Dell Streak – both of which are priced almost similarly – look overpriced.
Note that the iPad is being sold by a third party seller who uses Indiatimes as their portal. Anyway, if you have been inching towards buying yourselves an iPad without actually importing it, I guess you now have a chance to own the beauty without actually having to go through the hassles of importing one!
If you do intend to buy it from them, you might also want to let us know how the procedure went through?
