Apple would have 88 countries selling the iPhone 4 in September, and India is of-course going to be in the last lot of countries to get the latest 2010 iPhone i.e. in September itself. The iPhone 3GS launched with a great delay in India already and the iPhone 4 now follows putting the iPhone 3G in extinct list and dropping the 3GS to just $99 in US.
Priced at $199 in US the iPhone 4 would certainly not come to India at such a subsidized price (the logic for that, incase you need); but we are wondering if whatever exorbitant price the iPhone 4 comes in, would it be reasonable? Seeing the 3GS pricing, the Android powered Milestone looks a much more lucrative offer here.
So how much are you ready to pay for an HD video capable iPhone?
Update: It seems that Vodafone India has confirmed that they would bring the iPhone 4 to India in the coming months.
PS: We are hoping to get our iPhone 4 in hand on 30th June! Stay tuned for a review 🙂
plz launch iphone4 earlier in india
The iPhone 4 like the iPad will support only the microSIM. Have Indian operators launched the microSIM; if not how does one get hold of a operational microSIM without carving up a normal one?
A normal SIM can be cut into the size of a microSIM and can be inserted into the slot.
I have freinds in US, can they ship me an IPhone 4, will it work in india.
r u sure i can cut the regular sim and it`ll work?? coz the factory unlocked iphone4 is available in the uk.
