Post iPhone 4S Launch, Siri Chief Leaves Apple

That was quick. Barely days after Siri made its debut as an integral Apple product with the launch of the iPhone 4S; the co-founder of the company Dag Kittlaus has decided to quit Apple. According to AllThingsD, the decision to quit Apple was take purely because of personal reasons. The report also termed the entire procedure to be amicable.

Kittlaus’ family lives in Chicago and it is believed that he wished to spend more time with them rather than at Apple. Also, with Siri now in the Safe custody of Apple, Kittlaus should be a relieved man.

If you were not aware, let us remind you that Siri was a separate company that developed apps for the iOS platform. It was purchased by Apple back in 2010 with all its employees retained and assimilated into Apple. All Siri employees till date remain with the company. It is only Kittlaus who has decided to call it quits.

What is more interesting to watch would be what his next entrepreneurial venture would turn out be.
