Nokia has announced the launch of its newest dual SIM music phone, the X2-02. The handset, a successor to the X1-01 which was launched earlier this year packs in quite a punch when it comes to features. Some of the notable features include an internal FM antenna (so you do not need to have the headset connected) , MP3 player, dedicated music keys, recording capability, an in-built loudspeaker for music playback, and 32GB of memory space.
The phone also supports recording directly from FM.
As for the screen, the phone gets a 2.2 inch, 240*320 (QVGA) display. There is a decent 2 megapixel camera at the back for all your photography needs.
Being a dual SIM handset, the phone also has an “Easy Swap’ feature that allows users to customize the phone for se with up to five SIM cards. The dedicated SIM manager also allows users to swap SIM cards without having to turn the phone off and do a reboot.
Like all new S40 handsets, the x2-02 gets the new browser that uses compression technology (like Opera Mini). Apart from the browser, it also gets dedicated Facebook and Twitter apps both of which can be launched directly from a home screen short cut bar.
The X2-02 boasts of 9/7 hours of talk time and 18.5 hours of standby. The phone sees its global launch today with some sources already reporting an India launch.
