Official Facebook Application For iPad In Coming Weeks

You must have felt jealous when people on iPhone use the native application for Facebook while you being an iPad owner have to open the browser, enter the facebook url, and surf the website. While there are many applications available in the App Store that have been well optimized to run the Facebook on iPad such as FriendCaster, Friended, Facely HD, MyPad+  etc. But all have their own limitations. Some of them are buggy, some have limited features, some lacks in proper speed to fetch the data and so on. 

After being under fire for a long time, it seems that Facebook has finally decided to launch an official Facebook application for the iPad says a NewYork times report. Though, they earlier said that the iPad is not a mobile device, so it doesn’t make sense to release for it in future. Some source, who don’t want to be named have confirmed that the Facebook team has developed the Facebook application for iPad and looking forward to release it in upcoming weeks.

The paper claimed that the Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg has already seen the design and all the UI (User Interface) features which have been well optimized for the tablet. It will also capture your precious moments through the iPad camera with a video recording option right into the application. A revamped version of Facebook chat and group can be expected as well.

The person who has seen the application said that the image resolution in full screen mode on the official Facebook application for iPad is amazing. Some reports are also suggesting that the Apple has plans to promote the application through the App Store in several ways. Facebook has already released the official Facebook application for Blackberry Playbook and it seems that it is the turn of the next popular tablet in the market – ‘The iPad’.
