On a day when the launches of the iPhone 5 and the iPod Touch almost overshadowed the iPod nano. This 7th generation iPod nano is no ordinary device either and just like the others is easily way better and improved than the earlier versions.
The iPod nano is the slimmest ever at just 5mm which makes it about 38% thinner than the earlier version. At the same time it boasts of some impressive features like the largest ever display which stands at 2.5 inches and is also a multi-touch display. This one now comes with a home button as well.
Other physical buttons include the volume rocker keys which would also double up as the controls for your playlist to play, pause and skip tracks. There is a built in Bluetooth as well for wireless listening with your Bluetooth enabled earphones. And it features the ever green FM radio as well.
There are other important utility features like the pedometer and support for Nike+ which will help you keep fit as well while enjoying your music. Not to forget even the iPod nano is connected with the smaller ‘Lightning’ connector. It will give you a battery backup of roughly 30 hours.
The iPod nano will be available in blue, green, yellow, pink, purple, silver and slate and will be priced for approximately Rs. 12,500 for the 16GB version. It will be available with the authorized Apple resellers starting from October.
