Oppo, the smartphone brand which is quickly gaining the likes of the Indian consumers, today announced something which will surely make all the Oppo R Series owners go gaga. Oppo has designed and crafted a unique way for charging your smartphones fast by the technology named, “VOOC Flash Charge”. The OPPO VOOC Flash charge is capable of charging the phone’s battery from 0 to 75% in just 30 minutes. Roughly, it will take less than 45 minutes to completely charge your phone.
The VOOC Flash Charge can also be coupled with the VOOC Car charger and VOOC power bank to ensure the phone dosen’t turn down in the moment of urgency. While a regular 1A or 1.2A battery charger on an average takes three hours to reach a 3,000mAh full charge, the VOOC claims to boost the battery to 75% from 0 in 30 minutes.

Oppo says that this move was initiated specifically considering the consumers of today who constantly need to check their smartphones for work emails, personal, entertainment or even social media, for that case. We cannot agree more, Oppo!
Oppo has constantly attracted eye balls for smartphones with unique features. Their R series flagship model the R5 is one of the slimmest phone in the world at just 4.85mm in thickness. The Gilded Edition was a limited series model with only 10,000 units available globally and came for a price tag of Rs 29,990. Currently, the VOOC Fast Charging is available only for the R5 model.
The Oppo R1C was also another similar model which they tout to be the world’s slimmest smartphone with 4X optical Zoom feature. Among the most noticeable features of the device is the display screen being covered by Sapphire glass. This is intended to provide extra protection to the screen against scratches and other physical damages.
