The new MacBook Airs are smaller and thinner than ever before, While the wow factor remains, there are several reports of malfunctioning MacBook Airs out in the market, and it seems (pretty much as expected) Apple is investigating this internally.
According to some leaked insider info, BGR has managed to get Apple is readying a software issue to tackle a display issue in the new MacBook Airs (Late 2010). This bug causes the display to flicker (fading dark to light colours repeatedly) after waking up form sleep. While Apple CS would give some steps to fix this, they are ready to acknowledge the bug and would ask you to wait for a software fix (at least that’s what these documents say).
Time to put all the hardware defect thoughts to rest!
